My previous post was about trusting in yourself in your recovery. This post could be entitled, “Fighting Parkinson’s, and trusting in your recovery, part 2.” When you decide to trust in yourself, trusting that not only have you picked the correct path, but also, that you will persevere and see it through to the end…you have become extraordinary!
If you are taking medications and by doing the Recipe for Recovery you have not had to increase your medications, you are extraordinary.
If you are taking medications and by doing the Recipe for Recovery you have been able to decrease your medications, you are extraordinary.
If you were taking medications and by doing the Recipe for Recovery you have completely gotten off of your medications, you are extraordinary.
If you have briefly tried medications and stopped and by doing the Recipe for Recovery you are remaining drug free, you are extraordinary.
If you never have taken medications and by doing the Recipe for Recovery you have no intention of ever taking medications, you are extraordinary.
If you have gotten on your path toward recovery by doing the Recipe for Recovery and you understand that each day on the journey is recovery, in and of itself, you are extraordinary.
If you have fully recovered from Parkinson’s Disease by doing the Recipe for Recovery, you are extraordinary.
If you are a family member, friend, or caregiver of a person with Parkinson’s, or you are a person interested in what we are doing here, you are extraordinary.
If you have any doubt how extraordinary you are, each and every one of you, please spend 9 minutes and 22 seconds watching this video (also, I think it will inspire those of you who already know how extraordinary you are):
You are extraordinary!
“I have the power to heal myself.” I am extraordinary, and I did heal myself!
“You have the power to heal yourself.” You are extraordinary, and Marie did, and you are, healing yourselves!
“Together we have the power to heal the world.” We are extraordinary, and together, step by step on this journey, we are healing the world!
You are extraordinary! And you are worth it!!!
All my best,
Howard

Dear Howard, When I encountered you and the Recipe for Recovery, I got to have that precious moment of joy and clarity, and know that I was seeing my Well Being.
I am so grateful for that moment. And grateful to you for lighting the way and for sharing this amazing gift with me and with all of us.
Over the weekend I was away from the computer, so I just now am catching up, and have already read the next post on Pratima’s recovery! WOW!! Congratulations to you for that too, Howard. Each of heals ourself, but without you, I don’t know that we would have found the way. You have certainly made it easier by giving us the Recipe and your inspiration.
And since I missed the chance to wish Sally HAPPY BIRTHDAY on the 18th, I add my best wishes for a wonderful year. Happy Birthday, Sally!
Love, Marie
