Yesterday was a day of saying, “Okay, my website is down and I am not receiving email.” Such is technology, and such is acceptance. For those of you who spoke with me, you know what is I am writing here is consistent with what I told you yesterday. Simply put, I had no control over my server company being “down,” which brought my website down and halted my email, so I just accepted what I could not control and got on with my day with an, “Okay, apparently my site is supposed to be down today.”
It is acceptance and surrender. Acceptance of reality — The reality of the situation was my site was down and I was not able to send or receive email for most of Friday. Surrender — I had no control over the situation, so why let it ruin my day. “Okay?” Yes, “Okay!”
I appreciate the number of you who texted me, called me, and sent me Skype messages about the situation. I am grateful for your caring about me. For those of you who emailed me, I need to let everybody know this: If you sent me an email on Friday, August 2, 2013 and I did not respond to you it is because I did not get your email. Please go to your sent mail, hit the forward button, and send it to me again. My apologies in advance for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

For those of you who did not access my site on Friday, please click and read Fighting Parkinson’s, and doing what you can do. It is an important message, has an inspirational video, and there is a comment from Monica McIntyre that says in part, “On a side note I just saw my neurologist after one full year and she wrote down in her summary that patient is doing very well and symptoms have improved. I nearly fell off my chair when I saw it in writing.” Let’s celebrate with Monica! Congratulations. Also, I want to say thank you to all of the people who posted comments yesterday. First, you had to exhibit a lot of patience and persistence just to access my site, and the comments posted are wonderful (I recommend everybody taking some time to read them).
