Fighting Parkinson’s, and looking toward 2014, part 2

In four more days, 2014 will be upon us, and I am happy to see how many of you have communicated to me how much you are looking forward to 2014 as a year of continuing recovery all the way to being cured of Parkinson’s. How good will it feel when you say, “I used to have Parkinson’s” or “When I had Parkinson’s.” That’s the attitude needed to fight Parkinson’s. Faith. Attitude. Action. Progress. Cure. You are worth it!

So, as we near the end of 2013, think about this today and on each of the next four days:
What if you decide that instead of living Parkinson’s symptoms, you are going to live your life.
What if you decide that instead of thinking about the Recipe, you are going to do the Recipe.
What if you decide that instead of living Parkinson’s, you are going to live Parkinson’s recovery.
What if you decide that you are leaving a part of the “old Parkinson’s you” in 2013, so it will no longer be with you as you become the “new curing-yourself you” in 2014.
And, what if you decide that you will be looking at Parkinson’s with this new view: “Parkinson’s is a symptom of my life out of balance, and I can repair the imbalances and be cured of Parkinson’s!”

Let’s do this together. Starting today, and until the end of 2013, repeat:

1. “I have the power to heal myself. Parkinson’s is curable, and I have the power to cure myself. I am so much more than Parkinson’s symptoms. I am alive, and I am my own cure! Parkinson’s is a symptom of my life out of balance, and I can repair the imbalances and be cured of Parkinson’s. I refuse to allow appearances in my physical symptoms to make me fearful. Fear is a choice. Faith is a choice. I choose Faith. I am recovery. I am worth it!”
2. “I have the power to heal myself. Parkinson’s is curable, and I have the power to cure myself. Parkinson’s is a symptom of my life out of balance. As a result of doing the Parkinson’s Recipe for Recovery&#0174, I am bringing my physical body back into balance, I am bringing my mind back into balance, and I am bringing my spirit back into balance. I choose Faith. I am recovery. I am worth it!”

YOU ARE WORTH IT!!!

All my best,

Howard

  1. Thank you, Howard…. Yes, I am worth it as are we all…. and you lead the way, dear soul, with your consistently generous and giving spirit. How can we do anything else but follow your lead?

Happy New Year Howard and fellow travellers on the path to Recovery!
I have enjoyed your kind words of advice so much this year and I am now 8 months into doing the Recipe for Recovery getting gradually more consistent in doing it. So many things have come up for me in this journey, firstly grief and joy at finding someone (firstly Howard and others on the blog) who understands how I feel and what this is all about. Then physical battles to do the recipe, mental battles to do some meditation, struggling with finding time, fighting tiredness to get up earlier to do it, to find time while caring for my small child. Then discovering raging anger, and fear, working out what it is about, where it comes from, feeling it physically ,verbally letting it go until I can feel it inside. Remembering what my heart is and what it is for. Remembering that life is for enjoying, for living, for feeling joy, moments when I can let go of all those waking invisible terrors and live in the moment and really see what is around me.
I am sure all this means I am on my journey to healing, this is what I needed. The path is clear though every day I have to climb a mountain.
Love to all of you dear friends, thankyou Howard

  3. Lynn McIvor says:

Thank you for courageously and honestly sharing your journey, Mayarita. We’re with you, and cheering you on, when you’re climbing that mountain.

I second your sentiments, Penny. You rock, Howard!

    • Melanie says:

      Howard,
I, too, do the same things every day……. Trying hard not to assess whether or not my symptoms are better or worse than the day before, and trying to remember that I am not my symptoms and that my symptoms are not a reflection of my healing inside. Thank you Howard for your tireless support! Some days clinging to your words of hope is all I can do…….and the recipe of course!

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL……May it be a year of recovery for each of us!

      Melanie

  4. MARILYN MURRAY says:

Thank you Mayarita for opening up, being vulnerable, honest and expressing so well what I too have been experiencing in the past 8 months. After 4 years of actively seeking and trying different cures/treatments/therapies I am finally on the right track with Howard’s RECIPE . I know because I am improving, changing my thoughts and behaviours, accepting responsibility and with all the super support- slowly healing, climbing to the mountain top. I am looking forward to spending 2014 with all of you, Marilyn

hello friends here i post this………..for you know there are peeople recovering from long time ago …… Parkinson’s disease ever since it was found was labeled as a non-curable disease. But stills there have been instnces where people have completely chamnged by self healing and have recovered from Parkinson’s Disease. One such example that the world has witnessed was that of a German nun who was cured of Parkinson’s Disease because she had submitted herself to late pope, John Paul II after he ahd passed away.

And this miraculous cure was used in the canonization process. This is because the nun had surrendered her emotional pain over to the late pope, and this is one of the biggest necessity for the cure of Parkinson’s Disease. The patient must try to associate to the world and instill in him the desire to live, then his body will miraculously start curing the pain.So its not totally non-curable. And like the saying goes, where there is a will there is a way.
olympic athletes are prepared physically, mentally and spiritually daily with the goal of winning the gold medal, we THROUGH our coach Howard, we are prepraed physical , mentally and spiritually , to earn our gold medal, which is our health recovery…God bless you
