I have expressed in the past that this healing journey begins with faith in the ability to recover from Parkinson’s. Keeping a positive attitude is a component that goes hand-in-hand with faith. Together, they are the fuel that lights you up and propels you forward into action. That is how you make progress. That is how you are your own cure. Recently, I was inspired by a story that showed just how powerful a formula this is: “faith, attitude, action, progress.”
Last Saturday, Sally read an article to me about a woman who the oldest person in the United States; the woman had turned 116 years old. Also, she is the second oldest person in the world. I went online this week to read the article again and have discussed it with a few people. Click here for the article.
Near the end of the article, Mrs. Weaver discusses her longevity:
“Weaver cited three factors for her longevity: ‘Trusting in the Lord, hard work and loving everybody.'”
Faith. Trusting in the Lord.
Attitude. Loving everybody.
Action. Hard work.
Progress. 116 years old, oldest person in the United States and second oldest person in the world.
As you can see, this is a formula that leads to having a happy and healthy life. It is a formula that kept Mrs. Weaver’s life in balance, and it is a formula that will bring your life back into balance. As we have discussed, Parkinson’s is a symptom of your life out of balance.
When you do the Parkinson’s Recipe for Recovery®, you are doing the things that will bring you back into balance…soul into balance, mind into balance, and body into balance.
