Fighting Parkinson’s, and there is nothing wrong with you

If you look deeply inside yourself in your heart and soul, in your essence, here is what you will find as an inherent part of your nature: abundant health, love, joy, happiness, compassion, forgiveness, and gratitude. There is nothing wrong with you in your essence.

If you look deeply inside yourself in your heart and soul, in your essence, here is what you will NOT find as an inherent part of your nature: fear, worry, anger, frustration, resentment, emotional stress, anxiety, self-criticism, self-judgment, and self-hatred. They are NOT the real you. They are merely thoughts. They are vapor.

So, when you are faced with years of feeling unworthy, years of feeling like something is wrong with you, do not despair. Positive affirmations can un-seat years of negative feelings in a rather short amount of time. It is what I did relentlessly. There is a new term for it called neuroplasticity.

How is this possible? Love is REAL. Fear is VAPOR. Repetition creates NEW POSITIVE HABITS. The real you is what is REAL, and there is nothing wrong with you. Yes, you have Parkinson’s. As I have told you many times, Parkinson’s is a physical condition exacerbated by emotions.

You are not your body and you are not your mind. You are your soul, your essence, and there is nothing wrong with your soul. So, there is nothing wrong with you!

The Parkinson’s Recipe for Recovery®, is a roadmap to help you heal your soul, mind, and body. The physical part helps you heal your organs, and the meditations help you calm your mind. Today’s post reaffirms that the toxicity of your body and mind have covered up your luminous soul, so let’s do the affirmations to clear out the toxicity and allow your soul to shine brightly.

When you deeply and repeatedly affirm and feel what is real, the vapor simply evaporates and disappears. What is real has substance. What is vapor has no actual existence. Your negative thoughts are nothing more than a story you have been telling yourself.

Your negative thoughts are repeating to yourself other people’s words; they are not even your own words, at least not in their origin. Your negative thoughts are an illusion of unworthiness, and they tell you that something is wrong with you.

Your positive emotions are feelings that are real. They have been buried under whatever story you have been telling yourself about how you are supposed to be existing in this world, how perfect you need to be, how unworthy you are, how your best is not good enough, and how something must be wrong with you. Living in the positive emotions overtakes the negative thoughts because it brings you back to reality.

That’s right…brings you back to reality…what is happening right here, right now, in this moment, that is what is real. That is the real you! And what do you feel in your essence?

Abundant health, love, joy, happiness, compassion, forgiveness, and gratitude. The negative emotions do not exist in the present…they are judgments of the past and fears about the future…they do not exist right here, right now, in this moment. They are not real. They are not the real you.

Overtake them and replace them with positive affirmations, and then you can accept that there is nothing wrong with you.

That is why the positive affirmations will get rid of years of negative thoughts in a rather short amount of time. You need to be relentless in repeating positive affirmations. Reality evaporates vapor every time. So, let’s all get together and stay in the moment, this moment, right here, right now, and feel what is real.

THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH YOU!!!

Okay! Everybody together so that we rock the world:

“THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH ME!

I am abundant health. I am allowed to be abundantly healthy.
I am joy. I am allowed to be joyful.
I am gratitude. I am allowed to be grateful.
I am happiness. I am allowed to be happy.
I am love. I am allowed to be loving.
I am forgiveness. I am allowed to be forgiving.
I am compassion. I am allowed to be compassionate.

Parkinson’s is curable.
I am my own Parkinson’s cure.
I am slowing, halting, and reversing the progression of my Parkinson’s.
I am extraordinary.
I am recovery.

AND, I AM WORTH IT!!!”

All my best,

Howard

Note: This is a complex topic that is very difficult to cover in one blog post. Today is an overview of the concept that there is nothing wrong with you. More information will be forthcoming in the future.

This is definitely my stumbling block and what keeps bringing me back down just when I think I’m making progress.
Also trying to keep everybody else happy and feeling responsible when they’re not. My self esteem being knocked when I perceive others disapproval.
This is really important and what I shall be focussing on for now.
Thank you Howard for all the useful affirmations.
    Hope you’re all doing well.

    All,

After my last visit with Howard, I half jokingly suggested that I authorize my soul to sneak up behind my ego with a 2 by 4 as part of my recovery strategy. Now I know it’s no joke. It’s just that the 2 by 4 is made out of positive affirmations.

    Thanks, Howard!

    Hi Howard,

You mentioned that: You are not your body and you are not your mind.

Further to this, I want to add: You are not your beliefs, you are not your intellect.
There is a famous saying, you are what you believe in. But the idea of you are not your beliefs, is to remind you that, there is an essence of the self, which is different from the beliefs to which the self subscribes. When there is detachment from the identity that is sensed from the subscribed beliefs, there is real victory.

  11. Lisa says:

Thanks Howard, I will be sharing this and also posting this on my bathroom mirror so I can repeat it EVERY SINGLE DAY.
I am Lisa and I believe in recovery because of you!
