Fighting Parkinson’s, and nine years symptom free

On June 12, 2019, I will be nine years with no Parkinson’s symptoms. Nine years with no Parkinson’s Disease. I am cured. I am joyful. I am grateful.

As I have been asked in the past, recently I have been asked a couple of questions to the effect of: “Will you be offering reduced-cost coaching again in celebration of being nine years symptom free? If so, can you offer it at the beginning of the month of June so I can sign up and get started right away at the reduced cost?” My answers have been simple: “Yes. Yes.”

This leads me to the point of fear…and faith. There are people who are afraid to “jinx” themselves by doing the very thing I am doing here today. That is the epitome of fear. I am celebrating nine years of being cured from Parkinson’s thirteen days in advance of the “official” day. That is faith!

Faith in my life. Faith in my Higher Power. Faith in my cure. For those of you who are new to this website and blog, I say cure because I did the Parkinson’s Recipe for Recovery® and became symptom free…and I stopped doing the physical part of the Recipe. The mental and spiritual parts of the Recipe became how I live my life. In the last nine years, the only time I have done the physical part of the Recipe is to prepare for a workshop. No symptoms have returned, and they won’t. That is faith. That is cure.

I have been doing Parkinson’s Coaching full time for nearly nine years, and for the opportunity to work with those of you who have signed up for coaching, I am grateful.

In celebration of my being nine years cured from Parkinson’s, I have an offer for you to help make Parkinson’s Coaching more accessible. I offered this same offer last year and it went well for quite a few of you.

If you sign up by June 30, 2019 for my Parkinson’s Coaching Package, the cost of your first cycle of coaching conferences will be $350. That is a 30% reduction from the regular cost of $500.

The Parkinson’s Coaching Package includes:
Eight 30-minute conferences with me, by phone, Skype, FaceTime, What’sApp Video, Zoom Video, or in person; and

Unlimited email communication.

With this first cycle of Parkinson’s Coaching $350 offer, you will receive the full Parkinson’s Coaching Package as if you had paid the regular full cost of $500.

Here is a little more information about my Parkinson’s Coaching. As you know, I have provided you with the Parkinson’s Recipe for Recovery® at no cost. Many of you have posted comments about how you are doing with the Recipe, and many of you have emailed me that you are working on it. That is great. What I have learned from many who I am coaching is that it is not the starting the Recipe that is the hard part, it is the sticking with it that is the hard part.

A large part of the inability to stick with it is not understanding fully what you are experiencing. With Parkinson’s Coaching, we are in continuous communication so you can better understand what is going on with your symptoms and your recovery. I can relate what is happening with you to my own experience and coaching experience, and can provide you with the explanations, comfort, and continuing support to keep you on your path to your recovery.

On June 12, 2019, I will be nine years with no Parkinson’s symptoms. Nine years with no Parkinson’s Disease. I am cured. I am joyful. I am grateful.

“I have the power to heal myself.” And I did.
“You have the power to heal yourself.” Marie did, and you are.
“You have the power to heal yourself.” Pratima did, and you are.
“You have the power to heal yourself.” Betty did, and you are.
“You have the power to heal yourself.” Helen did, and you are.
“You have the power to heal yourself.” Tony did, and you are.
“Together we have the power to heal the world.” When there are enough of us fully recovered as a result of the Recipe, we will have the power to heal the world from Parkinson’s.

You are worth it!!!

All my best,

Howard

    Congratulation to your 9-year-celebration, wonderful!
We can recommend best Howard’s coaching,
he gives not only support and special knowledge
of the PD, but also hope and faith on bad days. It happened to us more
than once and we can tell, after Skype we could laugh again, Howard is
    a humorist!!

  2. Margaret says:

Congratulations Howard, I will be celebrating here with you.
Thank you for all the wonderful help you’re giving the rest of us !

To those of you who have not yet received coaching from Howard, I highly recommend you do so. I have followed his blog for 3 years and read his book, which is amazing! It was only recently I hired Howard to coach me and I really wish I had chosen to do so much earlier. I honestly feel I would have already reached recovery had I done so. I realized I needed to do some tweaking but it has absolutely been a huge WOW!! The tweaking has helped immensely, however, his knack for provoking you to look inside yourself and see things that are often hard to pinpoint on your own has been Monumental in my recovery process!! His one-on-one directions have brought a brand new level to my confidence in recovery, inspiration, and motivation. It is that personal assessment of your situation that is so very valuable. It is also wonderful to have someone who has walked your walk and totally gets it, to be able to talk to face to face. He is a wonderful friend, mentor, and the best personal cheerleader you could ever dream of having! Thank you Howard for the BIG HEART you have for each of us!! We appreciate you IMMENSELY!!!!!!

Congratulations, Howard on your nine years Parkinson’s free! Your cure has been such a gift to me and to the others of us who have also been cured following your Recipe for Recovery. Your cure has been a gift to everyone in this community. We have all benefited by your example and your tremendous generosity in sharing everything you learned with all of us.
As you know, my dear friend, I am forever grateful to you.

As for individual coaching, I will echo what Donna said so beautifully in her post. Howard is indeed “a wonderful friend, mentor, and the best personal cheerleader you could ever dream of having!” He will walk beside you every step of the way to your full recovery. His love for each person on this site is boundless.

    To our dear friend Howard,
Congratulations on your upcoming 9-year anniversary!
We can happily say, “we knew you when”. When you had PD. When we could see with our own eyes some of the personal, daily challenges you suffered. When it was hard for you to lift a utensil to your mouth. When you walked haltingly and with difficulty. We could not see your internal tremors but we saw your body appearance change. We were privileged that you and Sally shared with us some of your fears and, then, soon after, your resolve to recover. After our 30+ years of friendship, we can say that we (have) know(n) you before, during and after PD. What a statement! Congratulations on the impact your generosity is making in the world, specifically, with this PD community. Your giving soul shines through your encouraging blog, with every post. We cherish knowing you and celebrate the path your life has taken.
    Blessings and Love,
    Mary and Jerry

Congratulations Howard! I just purchased your coaching package today. From the book and recipe and the few E-mails with you, I could feel the kindness and hope. It is not just the physical coaching, but also spiritual support. I am so lucky that GOD lead me to your blog!

Well, Howard goes to bat for me 52 weeks a year, so I guess I can go to bat for Howard this week and honestly say that Howard is absolutely the best coach and mentor I could hope to find.

But who I’m really going to bat for, if they only knew it, is whoever tries Howard’s coaching on the basis of our recommendations. If you’ve got PD, this is something you need.

    Warmest regards to everyone,

    Chris in Wisconsin

Hi all, like Marie I agree so much with Donna’s beautifully written post. I remember the first time I had a chat with Howard on Skype.
Previous to the chat, I like a lot of you had started the recipe by following Howard’s videos. In his video’s, I saw a gentle prim and proper man who is super polite with his thank you after his demonstration of each part.

It shows how wrong you can be with first impressions. This man on Skype was warm, funny, and witty, not forgetting very smiley. You feel safe when you talk to him .
He’s not only compassionate and gentle, but has great strength in his character. It’s like catching up with an old friend, my dear friend, who gets me.
He has cried with me and laughed with me, and given me a lot of home truths and so much guidance over the years. He is no pushover and he will kick ass when he has to, it is essential with a woman like me, very strong and stubborn at times. He does so with love and encouragement.

One last thing, time with Howard is quality time. I remember one of my last Skype’s with him so powerful. I can’t remember why but another Warrior was grateful to me for something I had written and he had gifted me a 30 minute session with Howard. At the time I had felt so empowered by my last chat with Howard that I asked him to forward the gift of him to another warrior that I knew was struggling. You will be amazed at how much you get out of even a 30 minute session.

So congratulations my friend on your ninth year anniversary. I’ve said it many times you are God in motion. You were born to coach and to guide, my non prim and proper friend. 🙂 xx

I love being part of a cohort of people recovering from Parkinson’s. I imagine us as a huge parade of people proudly reclaiming our authentic selves step by step. We are connected energetically so each success I have in remembering to accept the world around me and forgive myself and others supports the rest of us.
