Fighting Parkinson’s, and 2021…the year of faith!

Happy New Year, 2021!!! As we wound down 2020, a year of many challenges, we closed that door to the past. It is January 1, 2021, and the sun is beginning to rise and awaken us to 2021 and the possibilities that lie ahead. For each and every one of you, this is a new year, a new breath of fresh air, and a new outlook: 2021…the year of faith!

2021…the year of faith! As we enter this new year, faith is an important factor. The worldwide Covid-19 pandemic did not end just because 2020 ended, and your Parkinson’s did not end just because 2020 ended. However, just because your Parkinson’s did not end in 2020 does not mean it cannot end in 2021. Faith. Faith. Faith.

Faith says that you can get better from Parkinson’s. When you have faith in your recovery, then your attitude is an attitude of strength and perseverance. And, with strong faith and a “can do” attitude, you take action by doing the soul, mind, and body recovery of the Parkinson’s Recipe for Recovery®.

Faith. We all come into this world enlightened spiritual beings. How we are raised and told to be moves us into the toxicity of mind and body. Then fear is used to control us.

However, fear is in the mind. Fear is nothing more than FEAR, False Evidence Appearing Real. It is not real, but it can be convincing. However, in the end, it still is false evidence, and it still is not real. Choose faith.

Enlightenment is not an achievement or goal or attainment. It already exists inside us. It has to do with getting back to our origins of faith.

So, for FAITH:

Feeling Alive In The Heart!

Faith is a feeling and we need to trust the feeling and not listen to the fear in the mind.

Faith at this level equates to enlightenment – it is a state of being of complete faith in our spiritual existence (even while in these temporary human bodies). It says to God, the Universe, the Higher Power, “Okay. I feel alive in my heart. I will do my best. Here is my life, and I am abundantly grateful for this life. Thank you.”

Faith allows you to look at your body, which temporarily is reflecting the unpleasantness of Parkinson’s, and say, “I am doing the soul, mind, and body healing of the Recipe, and I have faith in my recovery!”

FAITH: Feeling Alive In The Heart!

When I had Parkinson’s, I realized that to be cured from Parkinson’s, I needed to find joy in my heart, and that joy in my heart was a choice. I became grateful to be alive, even in a Parkinson’s body. The more I realized what a gift this life is, the more my symptoms mattered less…and less…and less…and less. And, the more my faith in myself to stay in the moment each and every day doing the Recipe and living my life mattered more…and more…and more…and more.

Feeling Alive In The Heart!

Do not look into the future to determine if you have faith in yourself to reach the end of the journey, your cure. Find faith inside yourself and feel alive in your heart, to do your best, and to stay in the moment. You do not control the future. You control what you are doing NOW! Open your heart to yourself, feel alive in your heart, and know that you will be cured one day. That is faith!

2021…the year of faith. Choose it!

YOU ARE WORTH IT!!!

All my best,

Howard

Hi Howard, happy new year to you and your family and all your warriors. Even in the festive season you make the time to connect with all of us here. Bless you. xx
I absolutely loved the gratitude video in last weeks post. Thank you. I love today’s post. Faith. If I didn’t have the faith in God that I have I don’t know truly if I would still be here today. He is my strength and my hope and my guidance. I listen to an American preacher that I love, Joel Osteen. He says that God puts dreams in our spirit and having faith in those dreams will help us to realise them, because he whispered those dreams to us for a reason. I believe he guided each of us, the warriors, to you in order to manifest our dream of a full recovery. Faith, faith, faith for with him all things are possible.
Big Love and happy new year to all.
    Karen xx 💕

Happy New Year Karen, good to hear you. Thank you Howard and happy new year to you and all.
I have faith that recovery is always possible but this year I’m really struggling I think mainly due to to being on meds too long. I struggle to do do the recipe at the moment which makes it more difficult to have faith. Each day feels like a battle. I hope to overcome and I send you all my love for the New Year.

        Hi Melanie,

Your post stood out to me because I too have been on meds a long time and have slowly been cutting back on them. Up to this point, its been ok, but just over a week ago it became a struggle for me. I agree, Howard, and these posts saying that you need to encompass Faith (daily) and to keep your eyes on the prize. Do your best and God will do the rest.

Faith is like a wheel on a ship. It’s a pointer to guide us through beautiful or stormy weather. With all the waves which have to be experienced in the meantime. Let’s keep the wheel straight and don’t lose your attention all the way. I did. The last few weeks, I lost attention, so I have to fix myself again to keep on going. Yes, we had some stormy weather. Now the wind is going down a bit and I will make a reset. And, oh yeah, all these days with sugars and alcohol made also a sailing off course.

Take your compass and faith. Off we go. 🌺🌺🌺

  15. Roger says:

For me, faith means accepting the mystery of my total recovery. The belief in what I can’t see. I do my Recipe every day, eat right, take a drink only on a holiday. All things I can see. But I believe faith is bigger than that. Faith is accepting the mystery of that which is so much bigger than me! Accepting mystery. The joy of celebrating mystery!

Thanks so much to Howard for leading the fight and for all of you with whom I walk!

  24. Mark says:

I know Howard is on point with his approach to the cure, i.e. liver, gallbladder and kidney healing example. I went to the movies last week with my girlfriend my liver was jammed up and I was really feeling my symptoms tremors, stiffness, etc. As soon as I worked on my liver, instantly my symptoms lessened or went away for the day. No coincidence that the following morning my liver got jammed up again and my symptoms returned heavily. I repeated instantly, and they got better. I am new to Parkinson’s, but thanks to Howard, I remain positive.

  25. Mark says:

    Happy New Year to all

  26. Constantinos says:

Beautiful and so Genuine! Thank you for the confidence boosting!
