Fighting Parkinson’s, and Elaine J. is one year symptom free!

WOW! Elaine is one year symptom free. How inspiring is that! Last year in the middle of May, Elaine had her full recovery. Now, here we are, one year later from my May 15, 2020 blog post post entitled, “Fighting Parkinson’s, and Elaine J. is symptom free!”

I would like to point out one comment posted on the blog from Elaine shortly before her full recovery. It follows right in line with last week’s blog post about opening your heart.

Yes Howard, I AM WORTH IT! and thank you for giving me the confidence to believe it and to live it. My choice has been to do your “Recipe” every day – mind, soul and body and to believe, right to the core of my being that the PD symptoms that were paralyzing in life could be eliminated. Eight (short) months ago I began this journey with you and I’m living virtually symptom free now. A small tremor in one hand is the last vestige of this beast and it too will be tamed – I have no doubt.

Probably the greatest gift you’ve given is in guiding and “giving permission” to LOVE MYSELF. And I do! It makes all the difference : – )

And so my journey continues, a little lighter and with a smile that’s a little broader. I’ll continue the Recipe every day, just because I love it and I will live my life to the fullest with love and compassion for all those around me.

Anyone thinking of doing the Recipe?? Just BELIEVE and DO IT! It will give you the tools you need to come to peace with your body, mind and soul and overcome PD.

Love, hope and peace to you all.

In that comment, Elaine shared in the most vulnerable, heart-opening way, “Probably the greatest gift you’ve given is in guiding and “giving permission” to LOVE MYSELF. And I do! It makes all the difference : – )”

In this soul, mind, and body recovery Recipe, Elaine shared with all of you how instrumental love is for healing.

And then, Elaine commented on the post of her full recovery with this message of encouragement to all of you:

Thank you all for your kind words!

I recall telling Howard, about six months into doing the Recipe, that I had had a dream where I saw myself on the far bank of a muddy raging river waving and smiling at the quite forlorn me on the other side. I knew then that I was going to recover!

Howard, thank you for being the beacon on the other side of that river, carefully guiding me across. I am forever grateful.

Take care fellow warriors and BELIEVE in yourself and your recovery.
Love to you all,

In her recent communication with me, Elaine expressed that she is well, she is living her joyful recovery, and she is loving life…and that she remains symptom free! Good for you, Elaine.

So, here we are, my dear friend, Elaine. One year later and you remain symptom free! How great is that? How inspiring is that? We are grateful to you for being part of this recovery community.

Who’s next? What are you waiting for?

You are worth it!!!

All my best,

Dear Friends…and so my journey continues and I am filled with hope and joy. I am truly grateful for my life and my recovery. While not always easy, the challenges have strengthened me and given the ability to just live in the moment and appreciate that for everything there is a reason. And, yes learning to love myself and loving myself, just as I am, has been the greatest gift of all. Thank you Howard for your guidance. Love and peace to you all, Elaine

Wow!!! So happy for you Elaine and thank you for your great inspiration!
You make it sound so easy (and I know it wasn’t), maybe it’s my Parkinson’s mind that likes to complicate matters 🙂
I am following your lead and working with my inner child and self love and it feels so good because I AM WORTH IT!
With much gratitude and appreciation to you and Howard for all the positive reinforcement, hope and encouragement

Congratulations Elaine! Thanks for helping lead the way. Thanks Howard for your stories of the way and your inspirational guidance.

I hope to fully realize that my personal demons and problems have nothing to do with recovery, and love has everything to do with it.

    Love and hope to all,

This letter from Elaine just made my day. Struggling with the freezing gait is not easy to say the least. This reinforces my believe that I will heal too even if I retain some of the other milder symptoms. Yes, I will be free. Thank you Elaine and Howard, you two are an inspiration

  11. Marie says:

Dear Elaine, sending you my heartfelt congratulations! I am so happy for you. It is wonderful to read your about your journey. I especially love your dream! How amazing was that? Such a beautiful metaphor. The first time you posted that last year, I didn’t see it and I am grateful that I got a chance to read it today. How very lovely that in your dream, you had not only crossed that muddy river, but also waved back at the forlorn you that you’d left behind on the other bank.
A big hug from a fellow traveler who also crossed that muddy river.

And an enormous thank you to Howard. Like you, Elaine, I am forever grateful!

  12. Marie W says:

Congratulations to you Elaine. Your beautiful story gives us all hope and reaffirms the path of recovery that Howard continues to lead us down. It is possible! It is real! It is happening. I visualize an explosion of healing energy comes to all of us through loving ourselves and others and we will be on the other side of the river of PD reaching out to lend a hand to the next guy.

    Blessings to All

  13. Kevin says:

Congratulations Elaine! Your recovery is inspiration enough. Thank you for sharing your keys to full recovery. I am at 8 months of doing the Recipe daily and am committed to joining on the other side of the river thanks to the help Howard and our fellow warriors.

  14. Rick says:

Thank you for sharing the wonderful news Howard and Elaine! Fantastic! News like this keeps us going! Last night I woke up in the middle of deep sleep with a massive lightning strike and I honestly thought it was my Dopamine starting to flow. Unfortunately not but I take this a positive sign as I’m only 1 week over 5 months doing my recovery! Love to everyone! Rick from Australia

  15. Ray says:

Well done, and many congratulations Elaine. My thanks and love to you Howard for giving us the inspiration and means to recover. Just over 5 months of the recipe for me. I am at a critical stage as for the last few weeks my symptoms have escalated to where at times I can barely function. However my faith and commitment is unwavering. Sending love and best wishes to you all. Haola.

    • Rick says:

Hi Ray , my symptoms have also increased as I’m also just over 5 months doing the recovery! I take this as a very positive sign as your energy flow is finding more blockages from what I’ve read! Very exciting

      • Ray says:

I agree Rick. The other day I was in bed when I thought I heard two thunder claps. I checked to see if my wife had heard them. I realised they were in my head. I believe it was electrical signals breaking through blockages. It is mighty hard but together we will get there. Hang in there friend.

    • Louisa says:

I am 7 months into it the recipe, my symptoms have escalated. It is really hard to move so it gave me some encouragement to read that you have had the same experience. Thank you for sharing your story and many thanks to Howard for his inspiration to keep us moving forward. Much love from New Zealand, Louisa

Hi everybody, I was diagnosed with Parkinsons in Mai 2017. I just took the neurologists word for granted and for real because I had no clue about PD. I found Howard and the  recipe for Recovery in 2020. I ordered it and started on March 17, 2020 with the recipe for Recovery. In July 2020 I contacted Howard and took coaching lessons. I learned so much and feel really inspired by Howard and people like Elaine and all of you. That means now in May 2021 I have done for more than 400 days 3x a day Qigong. That means more than 1200 times plus meditation and prayers. But I never feel tired of it. I feel so motivated every day, because every evening when I go to bed, I have the HOPE and the FAITH when I wake up the next day I will be free of symptoms of parkinsons. Such a wonderful feeling. I know my Heart is Open and receptive.  This is because you Guys inspire me so much. I know I will be recovered. I am already recovered from the inside. It just doesn’t show yet on the outside. I have the Power to heal myself. My body-my mind-and my Soul have the Power to heal themselves. I am worthy. Thank you Howard Thank you all. Uwe

  17. Helen G says:

Congratulations Elaine that’s absolutely wonderful news.

  18. Val Haynes says:

Yesterday, I was visiting an old friend recently admitted to a care home she isn’t allowed to leave. We sat together for over an hour while she told me lucidly and movingly how that makes her feel. I was so focused on her that I forgot about myself and my Parkinson’s for once and got up to go, quite forgetting that I needed a stick to walk. For a few seconds, I was walking normally until I became aware of myself and slipped back into default mode. The point of this story is that Elaine was ready to receive her recovery. There’s almost something mystical about it, hence her dream and Howard’s white light experience. They had both moved to a higher level in attitude and understanding, whereas I haven’t got there yet. But yesterday’s encounter and the quality of emotional attunement enabled me to briefly experience how my complete healing could come about. I am so very pleased for Elaine and Howard and it’s wonderful to realise that once Parkinson’s has gone, it ain’t coming back! Very many felicitations to you.
