Fighting Parkinson’s, and 2023…the year of change! Part 4

On January 1, 2023, I announced this year as the year of change. I mentioned that I realized that in order to have my full recovery, I needed to change, physically, mentally, and spiritually. Today, we will address spiritual change.

Spiritual Change. Opening your heart and soul to the reality of what is in the moment rather than looking at the past with blame, shame, guilt, regret, self-judgment, and self-criticism, and looking at the future with fear, worry, anger, stress, and anxiety.

The reality of what is in the moment. Acceptance that you have Parkinson’s disease. “Okay, I have Parkinson’s disease. What am I going to do about it? The Parkinson’s Recipe for Recovery®. That is what I am going to do about it.”

The reality of what is in the moment. “Parkinson’s disease is defined as having certain symptoms. As long as I have Parkinson’s disease, I will have symptoms. When I am fully recovered from Parkinson’s disease, I will have no symptoms.”

The reality of what is in the moment. “The current theory of Parkinson’s disease is that I have dead brain cells and depleted dopamine. This theory has never been proven in a scientific study, and the scientific studies on dopamine and brain cells disprove the theory and say that the brain cells are alive and the dopamine is in full supply and not depleted, just blocked in the flow. This is what the Recipe has been saying for 13.5 years.”

The reality of what is in the moment.THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH ME!
“I am abundant health. I am allowed to be abundantly healthy.
I am joy. I am allowed to be joyful.
I am gratitude. I am allowed to be grateful.
I am happiness. I am allowed to be happy.
I am love. I am allowed to be loving.
I am forgiveness. I am allowed to be forgiving.
I am compassion. I am allowed to be compassionate.Parkinson’s is curable.
I am my own Parkinson’s cure.
I am slowing, halting, and reversing the progression of my Parkinson’s.
I am extraordinary.
I am recovery.
AND, I AM WORTH IT!!!”

Change is not easy. However, if you make healthy changes and do them relentlessly, then the healthy changes become the rule of your life and you are able to heal your life and your Parkinson’s.

Okay! Who is willing to make these four healthy changes?

You are worth it!!!

All my best,

Howard

The key word is ‘relentlessly’. I can attest that if you fall off the horse, it’s very hard to get back on. But what are you supposed to do – watch your recovery gallop away? No. Get back on the damn horse.
I have turned an important corner on spiritual change because I started this year without the blame, shame etc. that were holding me back. I find that if I am in rightness with God, the other things fall into place.

I am willing and I am making these four healthy changes.

    I will make the change.
