On June 12, 2010, sixteen years ago today, I awoke with my remaining symptoms gone and all of my physical abilities restored, symptom free, fully recovery, cured!
Full recovery is part of the flow of life
When the full recovery arrived that day, it was part of the flow of life. Parkinson’s was a symptom that I had gotten out of balance in the flow of my life, and my full recovery was a reflection that I had gotten back into balance (soul, mind, and body).
A big part of being able to finish my recovery was this understanding of the flow of life. During my recovery process doing the Parkinson’s Recipe for Recovery®, I already had shifted to a way of life of acceptance of what arrived in my life, surrender (that I was not owed an explanation for what arrived in my life), and gratitude for my life and everything in it. I already had shifted from a judgmental mind to a compassionate heart.
Letting go of my final life-long issue
I was ready, I was healed, and upon letting go of the final life-long issue that I had carried, “making the other people happy to my own detriment” out of fear of potential conflict and reprisal as a result of having my full recovery, I let go and received the blessing of my full recovery.
Three days earlier, I had written a blog post about getting all of my physical abilities back and of have two remaining symptoms only. With the final surrender of the ego mind and subconscious triggers, the two remaining symptoms disappeared as I was completely balanced in the flow of my life, accepting and being grateful to just be authentically me.
Announcing my full recovery as a flow of life
I knew even then that being cured was part of the flow of life, and that life continued to flow. Here is what I wrote in announcing my full recovery:
Friday night before I went to bed, I meditated on this realization and let go. On Saturday morning, I was symptom free. On Sunday, I cleaned the garage. It was the first time I ever have viewed cleaning the garage as a blessing.
My friends, thank you for sharing the last sixteen years with me. I am grateful to be with all of you. Today, I will not clean the garage. However, I will have a day of coaching like any other Friday. Also, like sixteen years ago, today is another day in my flow of life. I am joyful and I am grateful.
Tonight, Sally and I will have a small celebration of sixteen years cured from Parkinson’s.
I feel that every single one of you has the opportunity to heal and to recover from Parkinson’s just as I did. Please know that you are special simply because you exist. We are a world-wide family of courageous warriors and friends, so nobody ever is alone.
You can do this!
Please post a comment and let us know how you are doing with working on your recovery from Parkinson’s as a flow of your life.
Each and every one of you is winning and you are worth it!!!
All my best,
Howard

Howard, I know that with the release of fear comes healing. I continue to work on that release and know that it will finalize my recovery.
Thank you for being an inspiration and an enlightened guide. I look forward to my own 16 years!
Happy 16th Howard!!! You have blessed and encouraged so many people, including me! May God continue to guide you on the beautiful path of life. Love you.
Congratulations Howard.
Thank you for sharing your joy with the rest of us. Love and blessings to you and Sally.
Congratulations and thanks for sharing your 16th second-birthday.
We are all so grateful for your dedication to sharing the recipe and guidance to the warrior community.
Dear Howard
Congratulation Howard, wonderful!! It helps us to believe, that we can do the same!!!
Many thanks for your steady support!!
Last week I came home from the hospital after a complicated wrist surgery. I also had 2 cracked ribs and bone grafts were taken from from my hip, all on my left side. I was terrified that I might fall, get stuck on the floor, etc. I had to stay in bed so I had plenty of time to think. I recognized these as fears … I know how to deal with fears… GOD!!!
“GOD” (Higher Power) is in control and “He” has invested a lot in me so that I can help others and enjoy my life. I will be OK or Amazed, either way I have nothing to fear. Ever.
I am working on my gratitude list for the broken wrist and surgical complications. I am grateful that it was not my dominant wrist and I’m grateful it was not a leg. Today I am grateful that I have healed enough that I can get out of bed and put weight on my left side. I have had 7 days to slow down and reflect.
Thank You Howard for Being Our Guiding Light!
Congratulations on your 16 years. You mean the world to me.
Love & Blessings for All…

Blessings and congratulations, Howard, and Sally, for your 16 years Recovery anniversary!
Your inspiration shines bright as a beacon of light worldwide!
Thank you!
I continue to live in the flow of life, grateful for all that already recovered in me, and all the recovery that’s coming.
I realize I am worthy not because of what I do, say, accomplish, achieve… none of that is the source of my worth.
I am worthy because I was created and am alive!
I am grateful…
We all are worthy, we are all on our way to our full recovery, we are all blessed in so many ways!
Here’s to the flow of life in all of us!
Thank you for sharing Howard and most importantly… Congratulations!!!
As I continue to completely let go of what others think of me…. This fear that has slowly been simmering, is vanishing. On the other side of this, it’s me driving the bus… The fun bus!! On this fun bus, there is no room for fear, only joy and recovery, and that’s what is happening.
I am forever grateful.
And so it is…

Dear Howard, dear Sally,
June 12th is one of those special days when memories cling like little butterflies to blossoms. Sixteen years filled with beautiful experiences, free from Parkinson’s – how wonderful that is.
Today, I am making space on my memory board and pinning up a beautiful new memory. Just thinking about it brings a lasting smile to my face. I smile back and wish you, Howard, and you, dear Sally, a magical new year of freedom and joy.
I feel inspired by you and lovingly accompanied by your presence. That is so precious to me.
Today, I climbed a mountain and reached the summit cross. I enjoyed every moment of the day. This memory was created in the here and now, and it now hangs on my special memory board.
With gratitude, love, and deep respect,
Anett
P.S. Today, I see many things differently. I see new paths, and I feel appreciation more deeply than ever. Howard, to me, you are a shining signpost lighting the way forward. And I do not walk this path alone. I feel all of you by my side.
Congratulations Howard! You are a true inspiration. Thank you for sharing your journey to your full recovery and creating the recipe so others may follow.
I am forever grateful to you!
Congratulations, Howard, and Sally too! Where would we be today without the two of you? Whenever I doubt, I remember you and others have already ran the four minute mile!! Making it possible for all of us to follow in your footsteps! I can’t imagine what it was like on your own—thank God for Sally. I’m sure there were many days when she was your North Star.
The Recipe for Recovery is fully integrated into my flow of daily life— loving myself, being grateful and joyful every day in every way.
