Accepting you have Parkinson’s disease is the first step in fighting the disease. Acceptance goes something like this: “I accept that I have Parkinson’s disease…what am I going to do about it to recover?”
In looking at Parkinson’s and your emotions, there is a recurring theme about how stress causes symptoms to get worse, particularly tremors. Part of this recovery from Parkinson’s includes giving yourself permission to have a clear mind.
Recently, I referred to this quote that Socrates tells Dan in The Peaceful Warrior, “A warrior is not about perfection or victory or invulnerability. He’s about absolute vulnerability.” Today we take vulnerability to the next level.
As a result of the last two blog posts discussing changing your personal vibration, the topics of acceptance and gratitude have resurfaced; I feel that it is time for a refresher on those topics.

A paradox of the Parkinson’s recovery is finding happiness inside yourself when your body is at its worse. However, it is that exact happiness that lights up your dopamine and helps your body restore itself for your recovery.
My last two blog posts focused on breaking the rules of Western Medicine so that you can open the door to being cured. In continuing down that path, please know that in your recoveries, you are winning!
